We Need You!

Interested in Volunteering???

Miley - Available for adoption
Volunteers are the life-blood of the Animal Service League. We can only help as many animals as we have volunteers. The animals need your help!! Donating your time is easy and you can design your own involvement from the list of Volunteer positions below. Please take a moment to see if there isn't some way that you can help. If you are interested, please call the number listed below and leave a message as to the type of Volunteer activity you might be able to help with. We appreciate any help you can provide!!

Please note that volunteers who would like to work with the animals must be at least 18 years old.

Persons under 18 years of age can assist with various projects that can be worked on in their own homes.

Volunteer Opportunities

An Adoption Day Volunteer greets those interested in the animals, answers as best they can any questions and takes completed adoption forms. An experienced Adoption Day Volunteer will provide you with hands-on training (it's easy!).

Fund raising takes place throughout the year at various types of locations and events. Volunteers can help set up, greet those interested in the organization, provide written and verbal information about ASL, maintain a donation box and/or help pack up at the end of the day.

A Haven Home Provider cares for an ASL animal in their home until an adoptive family can be found for the animal. ASL provides all medical care, food and crating necessary to house the animal while in the Haven Home Provider's home. For more information click here.
