Special Fosters

The following selection of animals have been waiting a long time to be adopted. Some of them have been harder to adopt simply because they need to be adopted together due to a special bond they share with another foster. Others may have special needs or are too timid or frightened at adoption days and don't show their true personalities. If you would like to help ASL and our animals but don't have the time to volunteer, please consider adopting from this selection of available animals. You will be helping to save the lives of many more animals by freeing up space in our foster homes. If you are interested in adopting one of these animals, please contact us.

Tiger
Tiger is approx. 6 yrs old, good with other cats and would be ok with a dog. He is affectionate and well mannered. He is on a special dry cat food for his kidney health.

Foster
Hi there, my name is Foster. I was wandering around with my buddies and started to hang around this nice house. I was kinda shy at first, but this nice lady gave me good stuff to eat and I took a liking to her. She took me to the vet to make sure I got my shots and got neutered. Well, to make a long story short, it got cold outside and I wanted to be nice and warm, I was banging on the door to come in. The lady got in touch with the folks from ASL and now I have a nice room of my own. A cozy bed and lot's of good yummy food and my own toys. The only thing missing, I can't play with the other kitties, we can only play footsie under the door. You see, when ASL took me in I had a combo test, they took some blood from me and checked it out. Everybody was pretty sad and they said I had feline aids, meaning I can only be with other cats who have the same thing as I do, or be an only cat. I sure love to schmooze with a human friend and I can purr real good too. Please give me a chance to be your friend. I would be so happy to have a home of my own. Meow and kisses, Foster
