Come meet Josie at the "Go Green" Party!!!
"GO GREEN" PARTIES Animal Service League and the World of Wildlife Education Encounters (WOWEE) will be bringing us "Polka" for in-store appearances. WOWEE is a group dedicated to creating a greater awareness of and connection to our natural world through live, exotic animal educational encounters and programs. This event is open to the public, free to attend, kid friendly and socially appropriate dogs are welcome (on 6 foot leash please). There will be free treats for everyone and pets available for adoption. WOWEE will have Polka the micro-pig at the party..such a cutie! This is also a great opportunity to drop donations off to us. We are low on gently used crates/carriers, all donations welcome. WHEN: Saturday, March 13 TIME: 12:00PM-3:00PM WHERE: Pet$aver Superstore 1596 Ridge Road West Rochester, NY 14615 (Stone Ridge Plaza). Cans for Cats (Pet Saver Superstore) Come help Troop 860 support the Animal Service League Date: now until February 27, 2010 Please join local Girl Scout Troop 860 in their effort to collect canned cat food. Donations will benefit our feline friends in the care of Animal Service League. Stop in to Pet Saver during store hours and add canned pet food to their donation box!!! Thank you for your support!!! Have a Heart for Valentine's Day (Pet Saver Superstore) This Valentine's Day, let an adopted cat warm your heart Date: February 14th 2010 Time:12:00PM-3:00PM Visit with Animal Service League this Sunday, and receive a Valentine's treat for your dog or cat. Representatives will be in-store with a wide range of cats looking for love and a permanent home. Valentine's Day Party(Canal Towne Pet Shop and Grooming) This Valentine's Day, let an adopted cat warm your heart Date: February 7th 2010 Time:1:00PM-4:00PM Visit with the Animal Service League, and receive a Valentine's treat for your dog or cat. In addition there will be a pet photo contest, contests and drawing!!! Garden Factory Winter Festival Come joint us at the Garden Factory December 5th and 6th. The Garden Factory has an AMAZING selection of holiday decorations, fresh cut trees, poinsettias, and the most awesome family fun in town!!! Every weekend in December there are activities, kids rides, decorations and food (affordable for families),click here for more information and to check out their website Monroe County Parks Dog Walk The third Paws in the Park Dog Walk (Oct. 18th, 2009)to support off-leash dog parks in Monroe County was a huge success! We enjoyed participating in your 8th annual plant sale! ____________________________________________________________________________ Arthritis Foundation Walk Special thank you to everyone who participated in the May 9th, 2009 Arthritis Foundation Walk. ASL was there handing out free treats to all the dogs who participated! Arthritis can effect dogs and cats, please talk to your vet about symptoms and treatments for your pet! ____________________________________________________________________________ |
