About ASL
The official pet food of ASL
If you are interested in adoption, the process begins with the completion of an adoption application. Once reviewed and approved by an ASL agent, a home visit may be the next step. If all goes well, at the time of adoption, you will sign an adoption agreement. This agreement serves as a protection for both the pet and the new owner. Please note that we do not do same day adoption. There is a 24 hour waiting period which allows us time to review your application and time for you to consider if this is the right animal for you. One of the most important commitments to which the adopter must agree is to have the animal spayed or neutered (if this has not already been done) at the earliest appropriate age. Volunteers are always needed to help with adoption day events, transporting animals, haven homes and obedience training. Donations are most welcome - we can use crates, carriers, blankets, food bowls, toys, food and time! |
